. esurance. now backed by allstate. click or call. >>> thanks for staying with us tonight. police and fmpts are working to get families out of the flooded neighbors tonight. rescue workers carried children to safety in little ferry just a few hours ago. hundreds of thousands of firefighters, police officers and nurses continue to work in harm's way tonight. they are members of america's middle class and they are the heroes in the wake of this storm. nearly 200 firefighters struggled to put out this six-alarm fire in breezy point queens early this morning. the neighborhood flooded and 80 houses went up in flames. the firefighters abandon their trucks and waded in carries equipment on their backs. this was just one of 23 fires in the new york city area last night. at almost the same time, one of the city's premier medical centers lost backup power in lower manhattan. nurses, doctors and paramedics had to get 215 patients to neighboring hospitals. we are told tonight that all of the babies made it okay. those nurses and doctors got the patients to safety at the height of the storm. president o
they cheap about. that's insurance for the modern world. esurance. now backed by allstate. click or call. >> sean: in just one week voters head to the polls and decide what is without question the most important election of our lifetime and with just seven days remaining until the race for the white house concludes we can report the momentum is on the side of governor mitt romney. according to the latest gallup survey his lead is at 5 points, 51 to 46%. in addition, gallup it reporting that romney is outpacing his opponent in a big way when it comes to early voting. unlike in 2008 when obama led senator john mccain by 15 points in early voting, in 2012 it's romney that's now running ahead by an impress impressiven points. 52% of the ballots have been cast in romney's favor. it's an eight point swing, by the way, in only four weeks. with all of those numbers in mind it's not surprising that the bi-partisan battleground model predicts romney as the winner in tuesday's election. will these numbers prove to be true? here to continue our debate is fox news political analyst. she's having a p

insurers here in new jersey. about 11% market share. liberty mutual and allstate just below that with about 8%, and then chubb falling just below that with just over 7%. we should also note that a report from credit sweet said that as losses start too get into the $20 billion and $30 billion, allstate and chubb will be set to benefit from some of that, though we should note with the markets just opening today, those are definitely going to be some stocks that people will be watching as the market reopens and some of this damage is to be expected. of course, residents no doubt still reeling, and governor christie said fema will be a strong force here, no doubt, for many, many months. and he kept stressing that word, noting that this will be a very long recovery process. people are just starting to try and put the number on very early estimates. back to you. >> kayla, it looks like we're taking a few hits from your shot, but it is surprising to see the lights behind you. i don't know if you can still hear us, kayla. have they had these lights on the whole time with generators? is that a new c
